Mar 3, 2023The Buffalo Sabres have acquired defenseman Austin Strand from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenseman Chase Priskie, the team announced Friday.
Strand, 26, has appeared in five games with the Ducks this season. He has eight points (2+6) in 46 games with AHL San Diego.
The 6-foot-3, right-shot defenseman has three assists in 26 career NHL games with Los Angeles and Anaheim. He has 53 points (21+32) in 181 AHL contests.
The NHL trade deadline is Friday at 3 p.m.
