PRIDE NIGHT SET FOR SATURDAY AGAINST CHARLOTTE

The Rochester Americans announced today that the team is hosting Pride Night powered by DASH on Saturday, Jan. 28 when they face-off against the Charlotte Checkers at 6:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.

 

For the first time ever, the Amerks will wear specialty Pride Night rainbow jerseys, which fans will have the opportunity to purchase through an online auction on DASH, a sports-focused online auction platform and partner of the Rochester Americans.

 

To access the auction, visit www.amerks.com/auction or text “DASH” to 66866, click on the download link and install DASH on your mobile device. Fans can then create their own personal profile and select the Amerks as their favorite team to start bidding.

 

The auction is currently underway and will accept bids all the way through 9 p.m. the night of the game on Saturday, Jan. 28. Winners will be contacted directly.

 

Pride Night Pucks, autographed by each Amerks player, will also be up for auction through Sunday, Jan. 29 at 12 p.m. Additionally, a limited number of specially made Pride Night-themed Mystery Pucks, autographed by a mystery Amerks player, are available for purchase separately as a buy-now item. For only $20, fans are guaranteed a puck.

 

 

Proceeds from the auction will be donated to Trillium Health and the organization’s Pride 2023 programs and other initiatives supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

 

Rochester’s Gay Men’s Chorus will be on hand to perform the National Anthem.

 

Pride Night falls on a 3-2-1 Weekend game, meaning draft beers, hot dogs and popcorn are all available for purchase at a special price $3, $2 and $1, respectively.
