Biography:

Acquired: Traded from Detroit to Florida along with a second round selection in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, in exchange for RW Todd Bertuzzi on February 27, 2007. Detroit Red Wings’ second-round selection (47th overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Last Season: Assisted on two goals in 16 NHL games with the Florida Panthers...Received four NHL recalls...Totaled 20 points (10+10) and 16 PIM in 61 games in his rookie season with the Amerks...Registered an assist in his first game back in the lineup against Manitoba on 3/18 after missing five games with an injury...Missed five games (3/07-3/15) with an injury...Had a four-game point streak (2+2) from 2/08 to 2/13...Received his first NHL recall of the season on 10/30 and played that night for the Panthers...Scored his first goal as an Amerk, his first of the season, against Quad City on 10/24...Made his Amerks debut on 10/10 against Syracuse.
