2011-12: Completed his second season with the Dubuque Fighting Saints (USHL), serving as team captain… Captured career-highs in every offensive category while appearing in just 49 games… Led the Fighting Saints in goals (24), power-play goals (5), game-winning goals (6), points (55), plus/minus (+17) and shots on goal (166)… Recorded a team-best 14 power-play points (5+9)… Ranked second on the team with 31 assists… Finished the campaign tied for 13th in points, tied for 16th in goals and tied for 18th in assists… Placed fourth among USHL leaders with six game-winning tallies and ranked 15th in shots… Registered four points (2+2) in two postseason appearances with Dubuque… Ended the regular season on a four-game point streak, contributing a goal in each of his last four games… Also netted eight goals over his last seven games, beginning with his first career hat trick in a 4-1 win at Tri-City on 3/24… Posted a career-best six-game point streak (2+6) from 2/04 to 2/18… Notched a team-high 17 multi-point games in 2011-12, including a season-high four-point game (0+4) vs. Indiana on 1/21… Enjoyed a four-game point streak (4+3) from 12/10 to 1/06 in a stretch that also featured a goal in three straight games… Scored goals in five straight games from 10/22 to 11/05, recording 10 points (6+4) in that span… Began the season collecting five points (2+3) in his first two games, including three (2+1) in a 5-2 win vs. Tri-City on 10/07
2010-11: Had a productive rookie season with Dubuque, finishing third on the team in scoring with 49 points (21+28) and 46 PIM in 51 contests… Ranked 19th among the USHL’s top point-getters and finished 20th overall among the league’s elite goal-scorers… Was one of just two Fighting Saints skaters to net 20 or more goals in the regular season… Totaled 24 points (9+15) on the power-play, good enough for the second-best mark on the team in that category… Placed second among Dubuque forwards with six game-winning tallies… Member of the 2011 USHL championship team… Added eight points (3+5) in 11 playoff appearances, helping the Fighting Saints to their first Clark Cup championship since the 1984-85 season… Represented Dubuque at the 2011 USHL All-Star Game, earning a spot with the Western Conference squad… Notched 17 multi-point outings, including six consecutive performances from 1/21 to 3/04 that produced 14 points (5+9)… Had a season-long six-game point streak (5+3) from 11/05 to 11/20… He also scored a goal in four straight games during that stretch from 11/05 to 11/13… Recorded two points (1+1) and scored his first career goal in his Fighting Saints debut at Omaha on 10/01… 2009-10: Ranked sixth on the team in scoring after collecting 28 points (11+17) in 23 games with the Green Mountain Glades (EJHL)… INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION: Represented Latvia at the 2012 World Junior Championship and the 2010 IIHF World U-18 Championship
