Registration for Amerks Street HockeyFest 2014 is officially closed.  Full information on the tournament, which takes place Saturday, Aug. 16 at Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex on the campus of MCC, for registered participants can be found below:

MANDATORY WAIVER


Games will be played 3-on-3 plus a goaltender and one optional substitute on the parking lot surface at Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex. Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment, including sneakers, hockey sticks and gloves. Goaltender equipment is mandatory, while helmets are mandatory for mites and squirts.  Additional protective gear is optional, but recommended.  Each player will also need to complete a waiver prior to participating.

For the third year in a row, Amerks Hall of Famer Jody Gage will lead a team in an exhibition game against members of the Rochester Police Department during the Amerks Street HockeyFest festivities. Officers from the RPD will face-off against Gage and his team of local media personalities, including Toby Motyka (13 WHAM Sports), Stephen Bond (News 10 NBC) and Duffy (96.5 WCMF Break Room). The game will begin at approximately 12 noon.

The third annual Amerks Street HockeyFest will take place during the Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex 2014 Summer Fest on August 16.  The Summer Fest will include a hockey expo, arena flag football tournament, live music, great food and lots of family fun.
