GAGE 'CHIPS' IN TO HELP THE RCF

(Rochester, July 15)… Rochester Americans Hall of Famer and Amerks Director of Player Personnel Jody Gage hit the links Monday to benefit the REALTORS Charitable Foundation. Gage joined Cindy B-Rosato, the chair of the board for RCF, and 400 other golfers at the annual Golf Classic at Shadow Lake, Shadow Pines and Greystone Golf courses.

“It was awesome to meet Jody. I was a season ticket holder for seven years,” said B-Rosato. “People were fighting to play with him.”

Since January 2001, RCF has made grants over $430,000 to 35 not-for-profits organizations. The purpose of the REALTORS Charitable Foundation is three fold: to mitigate critical housing needs, create sustainable neighborhoods and to continually give back to the community through donations, volunteer efforts and homeownership education.

The RCF is one of more than a dozen charity events supported by the Amerks and Knighthawks. In 2010-11, the Amerks are offering local businesses a chance to join an exclusive club for the American Hockey League season. As part of the Rochester Americans Business Club, businesses will have a chance to capitalize on the sales and marketing initiatives of one of Rochester’s most historic and successful sport franchises.

Members of the business club will receive exclusive exposure to the Amerks extensive fan base. Each member of the Americans Business Club will also be recognized in our annually distributed catalog and displayed on the team’s official website. To join the Rochester Americans Business Club, the Amerks are providing local businesses with four membership options: platinum, gold, silver and bronze.
