Rob Crean

Rob Crean enters his fourth season as Director of Public Relations for the Rochester Americans in 2014-15 and his ninth season in professional hockey.

Crean began his career prior to the 2006-07 season when he joined the Buffalo Sabres (National Hockey League) as the Public Relations Graduate Assistant. He then spent three years (2007-10) as Manager of Communications for the Phoenix Coyotes (National Hockey League) organization. In 2009-10, he was a member of a Coyotes PR department that was recognized as a finalist for the Dick Dillman Award as voted on by the Professional Hockey Writers Association. Crean then returned to the Sabres organization in October of 2010 to serve as the team’s Web Content Coordinator and as the Host Event Coordinator for the 2011 IIHF World Junior Championship before joining the Amerks in his current role in July of 2011.

A graduate of St. John Fisher College, Crean resides in Webster with his wife, Claire, and their son, Shane.
